About Us

Established in 2021, Bunjil Services Group is an indigenous owned security and cleaning company focused on providing exceptional services to our clients and supporting the sustainable economic growth of local indigenous communities. 

We are committed to creating long-term employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians through consistent training and mentoring, supporting individuals to overcome generational challenges and aspire to become leaders in the industry. 

Social responsibility is the foundation from which Bunjil Services Group has developed, with a genuine desire to create an organisation that considers the future impact of today’s choice on employees, their families, clients, and the wider community.

Supporting Indigenous Australians

Our goal is to support Indigenous Australians in achieving sustainable employment opportunities. This means not only creating jobs for Indigenous individuals, but also helping them to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become leaders in their chosen industries. We believe that by investing in the success of Indigenous Australians, we can not only improve their lives and communities, but also contribute to the growth and diversity of Australian industry as a whole.

Employee Inclusion

We work with Workforce Australia to assist disadvantaged community members rebuild their lives by achieving long-term sustainable employment that fosters growth and personal achievement.

We proudly employ various staff members whose introduction to our industry was through the Workforce Australia program. We work with a range of employment service providers to promote the career paths we offer.

Memberships

We hold memberships for Supply Nation and the Australian Network on Disability. We are invested in pursuing the opportunities these memberships offer us, leveraging them to increase our awareness and operational capabilities. Our membership with Supply Nation is a proactive step towards the implementation of our company’s Indigenous Participation Plan and our membership with the Australian Network on Disability fosters our efforts to enable people with disability the opportunity to succeed in our organisation.

Modern Slavery

We work proactively to reduce modern slavery and are committed to maintaining and improving systems and processes to protect against and avoid complicity in human rights violations related to our operations, our supply chain, our products and our services.

We always undertake due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers and clients, and regularly review agreements with existing suppliers and clients. This is consistent with our Ethical Framework, which expects a culture of high ethical standards, including compliance with applicable laws, contractual and other obligations. It is also consistent with our fundamental principles and broader company policies.

A key part of supporting ethical standards is enabling our employees and others, including Suppliers, Subcontractors and Partners to feel free and safe to speak up when there are reasonable grounds to suspect that we are not acting ethically or in accordance with laws and obligations.

We make progress every day on our commitment to sourcing responsibly, minimising waste, operating efficiently, and optimising transportation and fleet. Consequently, we are proud to have achieved international accreditation in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015).
